It starts with a vision - then a sketch, a prototype, then a finished piece. Wood is a living thing, forever moving, yet living within the boundaries we set with each design. I love simplicity of form. The artistic vision for my furniture is modern and light, reflecting the beauty of the materials used.

I truly enjoy making furniture from a fallen tree in the family yard. We develop special connections and memories of our trees that we cherish and recall fondly. I will craft a new piece from the salvaged wood, allowing you to hold a memory in a tangible way. Several of the stump tables in the selected works section are just that, memories held in a new form.

Several pieces, like the Newman bench and the Holland table were designed and created from customer photos.
